Everything was gathered on this Friday, 22nd of November 2002. A huge storm off the Gascogne Gulf, a record swell and an ideal low tide so that the Belharra high bottom, located about 2 km off Hendaye/St Jean de Luz ledge, create a huge wave. Measured about 18 meters, Belharra is one of the biggest waves of the planet. |
